Position Summary

Provide strategic and operational oversight for the NYU Dentistry Translational Research Center and NYU Oral Cancer Center. Primary responsibilities of this position include: (1) supervise all clinical and clinical research operations housed in the NYU Translational Research Center and NYU Oral Cancer Center; (2) develop and ensure adherence to research study protocols, operational policies and procedures, and regulatory guidelines; (3) develop, enhance, and ensure integrity of all clinical research data; (4) develop and supervise full time research staff; and, (5) oversee financial management of clinical research studies

Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:

Master's Degree Masters of Science, clinical research or relevant biomedical sciences

Required Experience:

7+ years in clinical research management; experience in supervising research personnel in an academic or research environment.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Excellent interpersonal, written, organizational, project management and problem solving skills. Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse population at all levels. Proficiency in Windows-based computer software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; as well as databases. Knowledge of clinical and research-based systems including Research Navigator, Redcap Database, Axium, Epic.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $117,000.00 to USD $157,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
