Code R242039) in New York, NY.Location: 50 Hudson Yards, New York, NYDuties: Make architectural decisions by analyzing business processes to deliver efficient solutions. Construct, optimize, and redesign data pipelines and computation platforms to support next generation of products and facilitate deeper analysis. Provide platform-wide solutions for data ingress, transformation, and egress including data API specifications and implementations. Perform process engineering and optimization around data governance, oversight, and production. Architect the firm’s accounting platforms. Operationalize data pipelines to enable squads to deliver high quality data-driven products. Partner with third parties, such as consulting firms, to develop technical specifications. Focus on scalability, performance, and capacity from development through production for critical strategic implementation of new accounting platforms. Reduce errors on deployments, improve reliability, and increase speed of implementation through automation. Refine toolset to improve data and persistence layers. Create applications using various information technologies including Angular, NodeJS, HTML, and CSS. REQUIREMENTS: Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field and seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in one of the above fields and five (5) years of experience in the above-listed skills.
