EMPLOYER’S NAME: WJL Architecture & Engineering, DPC D/B/A EwingCole. POSITION TITLE: Design Professional(s) II. POSITION DUTIES: Develop preliminary and detailed design concepts as well as contract documents. This includes functional requirements and project-design criteria for a variety of projects, client types, and design problems under the direction of licensed architect. Collaborate with project architect and project designer to develop building design by testing it in relation to program, budget, codes and other issues that emerge in design development phase. Develop construction documents including BIM model manager for preparation of construction documents in AutoCAD and Revit. Prepare and participate in design presentations. Provide graphic and technical support on architecture projects. Work with the engineering disciplines (inclusive of civil and landscape) and interiors to ensure consistent development of the project towards design concepts. Carry design concepts through construction administration. May require to travel/telecommute.
