DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a Data Integrity & Management Intern to join our growing project management team during the busy summer months. The ideal candidate exhibits exceptional attention to detail when accomplishing data entry-related tasks, is self-motivated, and possesses excellent time management. Strong keyboard/typing skills and a superior command of the English language are essential. In addition, we are looking for an individual who is positive, organized, and who possesses strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team and independently.

An interest in technology would be helpful but not mandatory.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides general administrative support including:

  • Utilizes and updates the technology equipment delivery tracker daily (online platform) by gathering data from multiple sources.

  • Handles internal and external email, Microsoft Teams messages and telephone correspondence.

  • Possesses excellent customer service skills.

  • Coordinates some logistics for special deliveries.

  • Communicates directly with vendors to resolve shipping and/or ordering issues that may arise.

  • Cross-trains within the team and provides assistance as needed.

  • Builds professional relationships with other Ricoh team members.

  • Takes ownership of special projects

  • Performs additional administrative duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Detail-oriented and results driven.

  • Excellent communication skills. Fluency in English is essential.

  • Current university student or graduates/postgraduates. Must be available on a full-time basis between May and August.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

  • Familiarity with Google Sheets/Docs and Microsoft Excel

LOCATIONS:

Manhattan and Brooklyn

TIME PERIOD:

  • 12 week program

  • May – August

  • Business hours schedule

  • Up to 40 Hours a week typically, depending on work load

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

  • Student must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or recently graduated within one calendar year of the program deadline.

  • Students required to be enrolled or have received a degree in a related major in the department of interest and possess some former work or internship experience

  • Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Students are to successfully complete all required screenings prior to hire
