Build and maintain custom data driven solutions and analytics to support commodity trading. Collaborate with the Product Management (PM) team to accelerate use of data, including delivery, cleansing, pre-processing, and general wrangling of data. Leverage cloud-based data processing technologies to develop and enhance data pipelines and data architecture. Work on the full scope of assigned projects, including understanding and gathering requirements, designing solutions, and building and delivering completed functionality to production. Assist and support the building of statistical models and help to automate and visualize their results. Collaborate with other technology teams to build interfaces with other systems. Support the PM team’s day-to-day processing and operations. Produce comprehensive written documentation. Work with Python core libraries, including Pandas and PySpark; visualization and dashboard development in Tableau and PowerBI; statistics; financial and statistical modeling; pricing for long-term commodities investment deals; and building data-driven pipelines using Python.REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field of study, plus two (2) years of with Python core libraries, including Pandas and PySpark; visualization and dashboard development in Tableau and PowerBI; statistics; financial and statistical modeling; pricing for long-term commodities investment deals; and building data-driven pipelines using Python. Alternatively, the employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field of study, plus five (5) years of experience with Python core libraries, including Pandas and PySpark; visualization and dashboard development in Tableau and PowerBI; statistics; financial and statistical modeling; pricing for long-term commodities investment deals; and building data-driven pipelines using Python.
