DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Evaluate market developments to develop appropriate stress tests and risk analyses on securities and derivatives portfolios. Analyze and communicate results to credit officers and management. Produce and evaluate Regulatory and Financial Stress Tests: CCAR (Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review) and CECL (Current Expected Credit Losses) Methodology. Strategically improve the Stress Testing framework and tools. Analyze results and identify trends. Analyze new markets and products to recommend risk management and stress testing measures. Support developments in methodology, analytical tools and governance of Loss Given Default (LGD). Develop and review methodologies for Lending Value/ Initial Margin for clients' securities/derivatives. Support manager in designing control framework, procedures and implementation. Partner with Credit Risk Officers, Business, Technology, Middle office and Finance in Global Private Banks and Firm-wide on projects. Serve as the point person for the Credit Risk Management and Analytics group to liaise with Model Risk Governance to ensure the completeness of our Model Risk Inventory, and maintain proper control and training of the team. Present complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences. Assist team members in handling day-to-day inquiries.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree in Operations Research, Finance, Mathematics or related field of study plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or as Credit Risk, Global Risk Analytics Manager, Analytics Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Risk drivers for Capital Markets and Alternative Investments; Global project planning; gap analysis; UAT scripts; quantitative margin methodologies for marketable securities; independent statistical inference, problem solving for credit risk, and economic scenario development; delivering solutions within a matrix organization; Python; SQL; R; Tableau; Shiny; Jupyter; and LaTex.

Job Location: 277 Park Ave., New York, NY 10172. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

Full-Time. Salary: $200,600.00-$290,000.00 per year.
