Contract Administrator Ld

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Contract Administrator Ld is responsible for serving as state lead in submission of group health insurance products at a regional site.

How you will make an impact:

  • Develops and oversees the regulatory approval process for submission of health insurance products with federal and state insurance regulators.

  • Collaborate with multiple functional business areas (enterprise and local senior management, underwriting, legal, and marketing and actuarial departments) in drafting of new product language and products.

  • Includes preparation and submission of form filings and communication with regulators.

  • Evaluates insurance, HMO, and self-funded benefit contracts and benefit booklets and related processes and procedures.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences :

  • Understanding of health care funding arrangements, health insurance provider networks, group health benefits, state and federal regulations, group contract and certificate development, and compliance strongly preferred.

  • Legal compliance research or paralegal experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience filing insurance products using SERFF and other methods strongly preferred

  • PC proficiency to include with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams and Adobe Acrobat strongly preferred

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS in a related field and a minimum of 6 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $76,304 to $144,576
