Amazon Communications Manager, Amazon Software Builder Experience in New York, New York
Description
Amazon Software Builder Experience (ASBX) was created to singularly focus on improving the experience for software builders across Amazon. We build solutions for the pain points our software builders experience, preventing them from delivering quickly and creatively for customers. With such a broad customer base across the globe, we need a robust marketing team to take the solutions to our builders' doorsteps.
Our team - ASBX Product Marketing (ASBX PMM) - is a team of technology marketers whose mission is to help drive internal builder tool adoption and change management. We are responsible for driving awareness and adoption of key products, tools, and initiatives across Amazon’s 87k+ technical community. Our communications keep our technology ecosystem healthy and up-to-date, and also better enable security, speed, software builder productivity, and industry standards. We increase awareness of ASBX’s mission to improve and contribute positively to the Amazon software builder experience.
This marketing leader will help establish the communication plan for campaigns across Amazon Software Builder Experience (ASBX), partnering on story-telling through data, to help achieve desired marketing objectives. In the process, they will also ensure that ASBX is represented in a consistent and desirable manner across all channels.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead comprehensive communications planning with marketing briefs to develop content and campaigns which include channel strategy, marketing objective and measurement.
• Own top-level goals on communication efficiency for ASBX and ensure teams meet related objectives.
• Work at a strategic level to champion best ideas for impact, and at a tactical level to ensure execution excellence of plans, that are designed to deliver scalable, efficient solutions.
• Earn trust from partners and balance competing priorities.
• Analyze data for critical insights, identifying opportunities for improvements, gathering requirements, and prioritizing requests.

Basic Qualifications
Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
Experience using systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, scheduling, and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $87,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
