Betfair Interactive US LLC in New York, NY seeks a Commercial Strategy Senior Analyst to work closely with the Commercial Director to drive the casino commercial strategy and act as liaison with the different stakeholders to ensure that it is properly implemented across the organization (e.g. marketing, product, sportsbook commercial, customer operations). Monitor the business performance, spot trends/criticalities and report periodically to the leadership team. Monitor the business performance, key drivers and trends, and develop reporting on progress against strategic priorities. Manage competitive landscape tracking (e.g. promotions, product innovation, loyalty, etc.) by state. Manage market share tracking and reporting. Produce monthly competitor reporting, layering quantitative and qualitative insights. Analyze competitor financials and strategy reporting for insights around competitive benchmarking. Ongoing collaboration with Customer Insights team to conduct standardized and ad-hoc competitor research. Liaison with Strategy & Operations team during long-term strategic planning processes and regular progress updates throughout year. Perform other duties as needed. A minimum of a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Management Information Systems, or a related field plus 2 years of experience in job offered or related occupations required. Also required is: 2 years of experience: in commercial/analytics/consulting roles; demonstrating the use of data to make quantitative, business decisions; Strong analytical and technical skills, such as SQL, Python, Excel; analyzing and manipulating large data sets across multiple data sources; using visualization tools (Chartio, Tableau, Excel) to communicate insights and trends with non-technical members of the organization; in marketing analytics and/or Sports Betting industry; and translating complex data into simple output.
