Citi Volunteers Program Manager (Assistant Vice President/C12)

Community Relations, Community Investing and Development

Position Objective

The Citi Volunteers Program Manager role will work collaboratively across businesses and functions within the global Citi footprint to promote and support volunteerism, employee giving and disaster response. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Program Lead for Citi Volunteers, the Program Manager will be part of Citi Community Investing and Development’s (CID) U.S. Community Relations team. Established in 2020 as part of Citi Global Public Affairs (GPA), CID works to drive positive societal impact in the communities where Citi operates. The ideal candidate should have extensive technical expertise in SaaS software, data analytics and Excel, as well as extensive experience with maintenance of technology platforms, supporting internal processes and ensuring adherence to Citi risk and controls priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Senior Program Managers in the management of Citi’s volunteer & giving platform used to plan, measure and elevate employee engagement activities globally. Tasks include, but are not limited to, acting as liaison with technology vendor, ensuring all compliance requirements are met, analyzing and reporting data to management and supporting major employee engagement campaign activities

  • Work with Senior Program Managers to generate year-round volunteer and giving metrics, and campaign specific and ad hoc reporting for use across businesses and functions

  • Serve as a resource to other Citi units, providing technical assistance on matters related to volunteer engagement and Community Reinvestment Act processes and tracking

  • Maintain a strong understanding of Citi risk and controls policies and procedures, including Third Party Management, technology compliance (VA), and records management, as applicable

  • Support Senior Program Managers and Community Investing and Development Operations team to ensure required processes and reporting for Community Relations is executed

  • Support the planning, execution and communications efforts for Citi’s annual day of service, Global Community Day as well as for other team programmatic deliverables

  • Support the sourcing and completion of external award applications as well as the drafting of internal presentations, articles and senior talking points on employee engagement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 3+ years of experience in volunteer management, community engagement or philanthropy

  • Expertise in SaaS software and extensive technical skills

  • Ability to work across business lines, collaborate and interact with all levels of colleagues

  • Ability to work with diverse global populations internally and externally

  • Superior written and verbal skills

  • Ability to maintain a big-picture view, be self-directed, deal with changing priorities and be a team player

  • High level of creativity

  • Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
