JPMorgan Chase CCB - Data & Analytics - Data Engineering Quality Lead - Vice President in New York, New York

Do you have a passion for building high-quality, scalable & reliable data for Machine Learning and Data Science solutions? Do you have a flair for data analysis, quality, and building curated datasets for analyses & reporting? The CCB Sales Science Center of Excellence Team is looking for a Data Engineering Lead to design, build and maintain production-quality datasets to power machine learning models, executive dashboards and other insights.

The Data & Analytics team is the engine that powers JPMorgan Chase with insights to create competitive advantages for our business and deliver value for our customers. We have unified data and analytics talent across the firm and encompass a variety of disciplines including data science, reporting, quantitative analytics, and data governance. Within this organization, the Sales Science team leverages industry-leading data-driven techniques to convert data into meaningful insights that enable the frontline staff to drive value and an outstanding customer experience.

A typical day might include:

  • Leading data design sessions with members from Sales Science and Product teams to build flexible data structures and streamlined data

  • Design & develop analytical data models for analytics solutions and ML models

  • Design & build a data quality framework

  • Develop & execute cloud migration strategy for Sales Science

  • Collaborate with model implementation teams for online implementation of predictive models developed by the data scientists

This could be a great fit if you have:

  • An ability to speak both technical language and business results

  • Broad expertise in data technologies, i.e., data warehousing, ETL, data quality concepts, Business Intelligence tools and analytical tools, unstructured data, machine learning, etc.

  • Prior Experience with deploying Enterprise-level Machine Learning models

  • A Technical understanding of common database systems, i.e., Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle and Hadoop-related technologies & their applications

  • Hands-on experience with various data modeling techniques and tools

  • Excellent command of the SQL language - Python, PySpark experience preferred

  • Advanced analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills

  • Ability to execute via successful internal partnerships with other organizations. Influence peers with diverse points of view and build consensus
