Point72, L.P. has an opening for a Business Solutions Architect in New York, NY. Facilitate technical options with SME's, Users and Business teams. Identify areas of automation via BPM tool and oversee implementation. Evaluate user requirements, research, analyze, conceive solutions, build consensus, architect, design, and execute digital process automation. Develop Proof of Concepts/Prototypes and conduct users demos, manage user engagements. Create Architecture of applications develop end in BPA, Appian especially. Lead development of applications in Appian. Develop applications in Appian. Train and support less experienced developers. Take part in recruitment process, including interviewing developers.Must possess at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent (including through combination of education and/or experience) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field and at least 7 years of experience as a Business Solutions Architect or in a related role. Must also possess the following: at least 7 years of experience in design and technical leadership of Appian, including designing of workflow, data, and application framework model; at least 7 years of experience in administration of Appian Platform; at least 7 years of experience in relational databases and SQL; at least 5 years of experience with integration solutions including Web APIs and XML and REST protocols; at least 3 years of experience in Java/.Net development tools, including Web Services; at least 3 years of experience as a Project Management and Development Lead; at least 3 years of experience in financial institution business processes; and at least 2 years of experience in Intelligent Document Processing and OCR technologies.
