Meta Business Operations Manager, XRT in New York, New York

Summary:

You will help build a deep understanding of XR Tech's product and business using internal and external insights; work with cross-functional partners (product, data science, user research, TPM, PMM) to help support XRT’s strategic priorities, outline data-driven strategic decisions, and frame actionable recommendations. This role is highly cross-functional and requires influencing executive leadership.

Required Skills:

Business Operations Manager, XRT Responsibilities:

  1. Close partner to PG leads, providing strategic thinking on how to grow, scale, and run their teams effectively

  2. Lead projects to create business value, aligning multiple stakeholders

  3. Drive cross-functional organization-wide initiatives such as budget planning, goal setting, and organizational transformation projects

  4. Prepare dashboards and reports for stakeholder and team members to drive transparency and track improvement

  5. Work with the PG leads to track progress on strategic projects, help build decision-making frameworks, deliverables, and ensure deliverables are on track

  6. Leverage cross-functional relationships to drive company-wide touch-points and leadership processes

  7. Develop streamlined processes and mechanisms to improve operational efficiency and communication

  8. Manage and facilitate business reviews (i.e. weekly business reviews, monthly business reviews, functional reviews, and other key meetings)

  9. Own high-value programs that directly support the team (DEI initiatives, PID management)

  10. Deliver Product updates in partnership with the Product Management team and Technical Program Managers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor or Master degree

  2. 6+ years of experience in business strategy at leading or startup tech company and/or strategy consulting

  3. Quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills combined with business acumen

  4. Effective prose and clear presentations skills with a high level of craft

  5. Experience problem-solving individually and in a group setting

  6. Proven track-record of organizing, developing, and executing strategy projects that deliver results

  7. Experience partnering with cross-functional leadership to turn insights into actions

  8. Experience with Microsoft and Google Suites, advanced skills in Excel

  9. At least 3 years of experience working embedded within engineering teams translating technical reviews to program management of product strategy or equivalent experience

  2. Consumer products experience in an engineering, financial, project management, or operational capacity

$145,000/year to $204,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
