Description:

We are seeking a strategic ambitious Business Development Manager to join the NoGood. The successful candidate will partner with our Director of New Business to identify, qualify, pursue, and win strategic new business, facilitating a robust integration of new clients into our operational model.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

External:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:

  • Proactively seek opportunities in key market segments aligned with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) for growth marketing services via inbound & outbound tactics to generate and qualify leads, ultimately driving them into an active deal cycle.

  • Lead Engagement & Deal Cycle Management:

  • Provide rapid and relevant responses to lead inquiries, ensuring a high level of engagement.

  • Deeply understand business needs, pain points, and motivations of leads to effectively communicate and deliver solutions.

  • Fully manage the deal cycle from opportunity to close.

  • Lay the groundwork for a positive relationship, championing NoGood and making sure they love and trust us.

  • Agency Representation:

  • Have a deep understanding of what it takes to position and sell NoGood. You know the agency’s capabilities, model, and culture inside and out and can speak about everything fluently, charismatically, and authentically.

Internal:

  • Collaboration & Alignment:

  • Review and refine materials, processes, and strategies, helping to ensure agency service to BD material cohesiveness and new business department optimization.

  • Pipeline Management:

  • Maintain an effective sales pipeline with utmost data hygiene, managing all stages from lead generation to closure.

  • Meet or exceed sales quotas and maintain operational efficiency.

  • Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis:

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to identify opportunities for differentiation to strategically position our agency as the top choice in the market.

Requirements

  • 3 or more years of relevant experience in business development or account management, preferably in a Marketing, Advertising, or Creative Agency context or MarTech/AdTech software startup.

  • You have a strong desire to hustle, solve problems, and make things happen. You have fire in the belly to do whatever it takes to help take our agency to the next level.

  • You have a deep understanding of the agency business development landscape and have a proven track record of delivering successful RFI/RFP submissions.

  • You know how to sell and scope for a full-service offering – from creative to digital strategy to media and intelligence solutions.

  • You are intuitive and discerning - able to quickly understand a business’s needs, if the business is a fit for NoGood and the role NoGood could play.

  • You are a proactive self-starter, able to take the reins and lead, but you are also a team player with a deep love for collaboration. You can manage up, down, and sideways.

  • You are highly personable and a killer presenter – eloquent and persuasive in both verbal and written communications.

  • You have client-facing experience and enthusiasm to be a NoGood ambassador to the marketing community, leads, and potential clients – representing the company knowledgeably and charismatically.

  • You are proficient with Google Suite and HubSpot and can quickly adopt and implement emerging tools and technologies.

Compensation Range Dependent on Experience: $68,000 - $85,000 base + Commission (OTE $170K annually)
