Description We are in search of a meticulous and dedicated Bookkeeper to join our team in New York, New York. The primary function of this role is to manage and record financial transactions, reconcile bank and credit card statements, generate financial reports, and assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. This role is pivotal in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our accounting team with various tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Enter financial transactions into accounting software such as QuickBooks and NetSuite with precision and efficiency

• Reconcile bank and credit card statements regularly

• Generate and present financial reports as per the team's requirements

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure smooth financial operations

• Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions to facilitate audits and reviews

• Support the accounting team with ad-hoc tasks as needed

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Bookkeeping, Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, Payroll, QuickBooks, NetSuite to perform duties effectively. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role

• Proficiency in account reconciliation is required

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Must have experience in performing bank reconciliations

• Strong bookkeeping skills are essential

• Must have data entry skills, with attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Experience in month-end close procedures

• Must have experience in payroll management

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and NetSuite is a plus

• Must have strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks

• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Must maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
