The Trustees of Columbia University in the City of New York Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at CUMC (General/Inpatient Cardiologist) in New York, New York

The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the Columbia University Irving Medical Center and Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital of NewYork-Presbyterian is actively recruiting a faculty position in General Cardiology.

The successful applicant will become a full time faculty in the Department of Pediatrics at the academic rank of Assistant Professor in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology and work within the Division of Pediatric Cardiology as staff attending.

This position will be critical to establishing prolonged and sustainable ties to the community pediatricians in the Westchester area, as well as those near offsite locations. This position will be responsible for significant portions of outpatient general cardiology at offsite locations, as well as inpatient coverage and service on the cardiology floor. This position will be responsible for standardizing care protocols on the cardiac floor and will be essential to shaping the future of cardiac care at MSCH.

Additional clinical responsibilities will include outpatient and inpatient pediatric cardiology subspecialty care as well as on-call duties. Academic advancement along an investigator, educational and/or applied health care tract is expected and supported. Involvement in clinical research trials for which our center is enrolling is expected as are University and public service activities.


Candidates must be Board Certified or Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
