GLOBAL LIFESTYLE FRAGRANCES - BRAND MANAGER

THE ROLE

We are looking for a motivated Assistant Brand Manager with a hands-on mentality to help drive our ambitions plans for 2024/205 and beyond. You will be part of the Global Brand Team and reports into the Director New Business and Brand Growth based in NYC.

New Product Development: assist team in new product launch planning and execution according to new product development process.

• Manage team ownership, inputs, and outputs in product development tools
• Manage ownership of key product development briefing documents, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure documents are complete across all functions
• Work with Brand Manager on all briefing documents (creative, products, cross functional team)
• Conduct competitive research to help inform product and pricing strategy.
• Follow up on deliverables with cross-functional teams
• Manage routing of launch materials for team review and approval, including creative assets, visual merchandising units, etc.
• Ad hoc competitive and market study on business needs

New Brands evaluation:

• Lead all initial market research needs required to assess each opportunity (gather and analyses information inc. competitive and market dynamics, across relevant regions)
• Gather and summarize relevant competitive brands data (portfolio, price, retail channels, activation...)
• Supporting the creation of all presentation (external and markets onboarding)
• Support the Global Marketing department in other various ad hoc analytic projects.

Other Duties:

• Assist team in budget management such as opening POs and invoice tracking
• Input to team status, prepare agenda, take notes and track delivery and timing on each projects
• Competitive product purchasing.

It is also important that you know how to work with global teams and operate with a highly collaborative and open mindset.

Essential:

• 4-year Undergraduate Degree in Marketing or a related field
• 2-3 years of related experience (marketing); strongly prefer Global Beauty Marketing experience
• Must be able to seamlessly work across multiple projects involving multiple stakeholders and must easily adapt to change and be proactive in identifying problems and finding solutions
• Must be a self-starter, professionally mature, accountable, flexible, resourceful, organized and highly detail-oriented with accurate work output
• Must possess the ability to build, foster and nurture strong relationships and gain the respect of members of the cross-functional and affiliate teams
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent Microsoft skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Base Salary Range: $83,000-$90,000 + bonus
