Deloitte Cyber Risk Manager Strategy Detection and Response

Are you interested in improving the cyber and organizational risk profiles of leading companies? Our Cyber Security professionals assist our clients with the design and implementation of holistic and targeted solutions needed to meet and exceed the requirements of best practice, ethical operations, and regulation.

Work you'll do

  • Advise clients on creating repeatable strategic solutions for cybersecurity, focusing on risk management from detection to issue resolution.

  • Guide clients on global cyber risk trends and collaborate with them to enhance their cybersecurity capabilities.

  • Contribute to Deloitte's thought leadership in client organizations and external market place

  • Operate as a subject matter specialist on industry trends around cyber risk practices

  • Assessing clients cyber risk profiles using industry leading frameworks and experience

  • Performing and reviewing independent assessments using SWIFT Customer Security Controls Framework and reviewing NIST Cybersecurity Framework domains

  • Project management for client cyber capabilities, including IT asset management and identity management. This includes establishing a Cyber PMO (Project Management Office) to oversee projects, ensure standardization, and monitor progress.

  • Assessing clients' technical architecture, including hardware, applications, user interfaces, and user devices

  • Applying industry best practices to clients' network security, including firewalls, protocols, and encryption algorithms

  • Spearheading teams with multiple work streams through the full lifecycle of engagements while mentoring and coaching junior team members

  • Collecting status updates from teams to present finding and issues to senior members of the team and clients

  • Performing business development, including preparing proposals, responding to RFPs, developing white papers, and updating website materials for specific subject matter

  • Communicating cyber security gaps identified to client senior managers and C-suite executives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Requires at a minimum a bachelor's degree in business administration, computer sciences or another relevant field of study

  • Extensive experience in cybersecurity with a focus on strategy, detection, and response.

  • Strong understanding of cyber frameworks such as FFIEC CAT, SWIFT Customer Security Controls Framework and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and lead teams.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.

  • Business development skills, including experience with proposals and RFPs

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $124,616 - 240,488.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
