Account Operations Manager

The New York Post delivers the best in News, Sports, Entertainment and Pop Culture with wit, irreverence and authority. Over the past 223 years, The Post has evolved into a multi-platform media company spanning print, digital, video, audio, app, television and commerce.

The Account Operations Manager will support the sales team with all aspects of the sales life-cycle from campaign start to finish. The right individual will be a key contributor to the New York Post’s sales organization and responsible for building media plans and implementing, maintaining and optimizing these campaigns. This position involves marketing/brainstorming, sales planning, client support, campaign management and reporting.

Responsibilities :

  • Understand site ad functionality, including knowledge of all ad products available on our site

  • Brainstorm with internal teams to respond to all RFPs by creating media plans that meet client objectives

  • Pull accurate inventory forecasts using tools such as Google Ad Manager Forecast Tool and Placements.IO

  • Implementation and management of online advertising campaigns via ad server Google Ad Manager

  • Ensure accurate invoicing and fulfillment of IOs

  • Provide proof of implementation reports and screenshots

  • Identify, analyze and problem-solve any campaign issues, including trafficking, tracking, delivery, or invoicing.

  • Monitor delivery of campaign from beginning to end and optimizing as needed

  • Coordinate with relevant internal departments on all levels of campaign execution

  • Create post-campaign recaps to renew/upsell deals

  • Ensure a high level of customer service with all clients/agencies.

Requirements :

  • 1+ years experience in digital account management and/or campaign management

  • Degree from an accredited college or university

  • Comfortable in a fast-paced and changing environment

  • Excellent client service and written/verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently but must be a team player

  • Extremely proactive, self-sufficient and highly organized, with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple and varied tasks in a timely manner

  • Enjoy working independently and in a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge across departments

  • Eager to learn multiple aspects of the digital media landscape

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Experience with Google Ad Manager preferred

Salary Range: $55,000 – $65,000
