Description

Amazon DSP (Demand Side Platform) team is looking for a Software Development Engineer to help us define and build the seamless customer experience and high performance application for our next generation ad program. You'll play a critical role in the design and implementation of a strategic product for advertisers to manage their ad creatives and campaign landing pages.

Key job responsibilities

You are enthusiastic about helping in defining our products, shaping ambiguous business goals into working software solutions. You are comfortable taking initiative and working across teams in a relatively unstructured environment. You have well-honed, insightful architectural design instincts, and enjoy building simple and elegant systems that will scale to support millions of users. Passion for the customer and their experience with our products is a key requirement for you. As an engineer, you enjoy working on MVP products, innovating on behalf of the customer, and building systems that will form the foundation of this highly strategic new businesses.

A day in the life

As a Software Development Engineer in Amazon DSP Creative Management Experience, you will be solving problems for global brands while obsessing over the customer experience for shoppers viewing these creatives.

About the team

The DSP Creative Management Experience team is focused on the needs of the most well-established brands in the world who seek to influence the Amazon shopper journey through advertisements. These sophisticated advertisers attract Amazon shoppers to their products and brands through digital advertising, both online (on-site and off-site) and out-of-home, including physical stores. Our ads span a variety of mediums including display, video, and audio experience.

We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

New York City, NY, USA | Seattle, WA, USA

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience

  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $134,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
