We're looking for an Advertising Principal Product Manager (Tech) who is ready to work in a rapidly changing industry and will help us develop products and innovate on behalf of the customer. In this role, you will engage with a cross-disciplinary team to conceive, design, and develop innovative customer facing experiences.

Key job responsibilities

· Own the ideation and development of customer facing products for a rapidly growing customer segment in Amazon Ads.

· Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.

· Closely cooperate with our tech team on building the overall product roadmap, and manage prioritization and trade-offs against developer experience, customer experience, and time to market

· Lead development of specifications and requirements for key components of internal and customer facing experiences

· Write product documents and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business, design and development teams

A day in the life

In this role you will collaborate with the team to develop the product vision for a brand-new set of advertising experiences on Amazon.

This role is inherently cross-functional - You will work closely with engineering, product management, design, operations, finance, legal, and business development to deliver for our customers.

You will be expected to create certainty out of ambiguity while having a firm grasp over the operational, and financial aspects of your programs.

About the team

We are a greenfield single threaded team, with a vision to create self-service experiences supporting the fastest growing segment in Amazon Ads, providing customers guidance in setting and achieving their business growth objectives.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience

  • 8+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience technical product management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
