Emmy Squared HELL'S KITCHEN is hiring FOOD RUNNERS to join our team! Emmy Squared/Pizza Loves Emily is a growing restaurant company that not only offers advancement opportunities, but a fun work environment, supportive leadership, competitive pay, health benefits for full time employees and delectable menu items you will be proud to serve our guests.

Food Runners earn $16.00 per hour (this is a tipped position subject to a $5.35 tip credit if applicable). Full time employees are eligible for comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and more. Both full time and part time positions are available.

Food Runner Key Responsibilities:

  • To provide courteous, prompt service to our guests

  • Ensure correct menu items are delivered timely to guests

  • Successfully adhere to Emmy's Steps of Service

  • Ensure items are cleared from tables in a timely manner to ensure an organized dining experience

  • Ability to communicate guest requests and effectively handle guest needs

  • Help to maintain a clean and presentable work environment

  • Maintain a positive, outgoing demeanor during service

  • Be safety conscious to promote the safety of one’s self, co-workers and guests at all times

  • Adhere to company policy and procedures

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

    Food Runner Qualifications:

  • Previous front of house restaurant experience preferred

  • Prior experience requiring excellent customer service, service recovery and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing the needs of guests

  • Ability to work cohesively with co-workers throughout the restaurant

  • Possess a passion for hospitality and a love of the food & beverage industry

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Requires frequent bending, reaching overhead, and twisting. Must be able to stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift.
