Amazon Finance Manager, AMZL Engineering Finance in New York City, New York

Description

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is Amazon's "Last Mile" delivery service, responsible for delivering packages (and smiles) to households/businesses across the planet. Our finance team closely partners to support this rapidly expanding business while building a portfolio of delivery stations, vans, and technology to deliver customers' packages on time - often next day, sometimes faster. We augment our traditional "deliver by van" with other models including Amazon Flex (gig economy drivers), Amazon Lockers, and more - all designed to deliver smiles to our customers. You will make history as you help build one of the largest carriers on the planet.

AMZL Finance seeks a Finance Manager to join the AMZL Launch & Innovation team, partnering directly with our business partners that are driving Industrial Automation initiatives. This role offers the ability to lead and manage the investment in one of AMZL’s most strategic and innovative initiatives - equipping our delivery stations with new technologies and equipment that automate the most labor intensive components of our last mile operations.

Success in this role will require you to partner with and influence business and product owners and support thoughtful decision making as we rapidly evolve, invest and execute our delivery station expansion plan. You will own the long term financial model to support this initiative, articulating how our investments in new delivery capacity map to our growth in delivery volume. A typical day in this role provides an opportunity to lead, challenge, and innovate to help build scalable and robust solutions through data-driven decision making.
