Finance and accounting support focused on financial planning, decision making and production accounting. Apply financial analysis skills to budget, forecast, and aid the strategic decision process. Support preparation of quarterly forecasts, annual budget and mid-range plan and their related presentation materials for senior management, including variance analysis and executive summaries. Experience with systems such as SAP, Business Warehouse, and BPC software to upload quarterly schedules to Corporate CFO Group and ensure show production costs from Production Accounting system are reported in S4/Hana (SAP) in an IFRS-compliant manner. Utilize experience gained in production company financial management to work on production, operational, and Production Accounting-related matters (production cost recoveries, development cost spending, overhead controls, real estate financial matters, Tax Dept. requests, fixed asset accounting, banking matters, financial analysis of joint projects across domestic and international divisions). Manage month-end reporting tasks and prepare certain journal entries and analytical reports (e.g., cash flow). Ensure accuracy of books and records and respond to audit requests. Hands-on supervision of activities performed by vendor accounting personnel (A/P and bank reconciliations).Bachelor’s in Business, Accounting, Finance, or its foreign equivalent, +5 years experience in the job offered with analytical or operational finance in TV Production Position allows some work from home flexibility, schedule to be approved by manager. Must be able to work on site as required.
