The leading task of quality control involves enforcing the use of specified processes and materials, ensuring the qualification of operators and equipment, and making a series of planned measurements to determine if quality standards are being met. What You Will Do - Complete set up/changeover jobs for injection molding, automated assembly lines, and/or other secondary finishing operations - Perform visual, in-process, and final inspection of parts per quality criteria - Perform general preventive maintenance on equipment including but not limited to pneumatic systems, epoxy dispensers, and other finishing/assembly equipment - Complete electronic record-keeping as required - Ensure that quality practices are being followed to produce conforming product - Work alongside maintenance and engineering technicians while trouble shooting and correcting issues on equipment - Ensure safe handling of sharps and small-delicate subcomponents - Communicate changes/issues with team leader and technicians on other shifts - Complete other duties as required within the physical limits of this position ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) - Six (6) months or more experience in a manufacturing, production, agriculture, industrial or military environment - Experience with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word) What Will Put You Ahead - Experience in a fast-paced work environment that requires decision making - Troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment - Strong computer skills (Preferred skills in Microsoft Suite and SAP) - Experience handling and inspecting micro-components using tweezers and vacuum pens ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: https://koch.avature.net/en_US/careers/JobDetail/Process-Engineering-Manager/157246
