Job Summary

The Event Coordinator is a team leader who excels at delivering results and luxury experiences. This position Supports, Assists, Executes and Delivers all events based on annual revenue budgets.  The event coordinator has a high attention to detail, is flexible, thrives in a fast paced environment, has an entrepreneurial mindset and loves to travel. The Event Coordinator upholds KREWE’s core values and Code of Conduct at all times during work trips. 

 

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Events include sample sales, corporate giftings and external events. 

  • Assist with short and long-term planning for all events within approved budget, marketing plan and department objectives

  • Efficiency in researching and booking all travel needs within a profitable budget.

  • Communicate and coordinate with third party vendors and contract workers.

  • Supports all phases of the event, including but not limited to sales, planning, servicing and administrative procedures.

  • Delivers budgeted sales and profits in all event areas.

  • Assists with training event staff to solicit the planning, merchandising and execution of events.

  • Drive the event support team to achieve sales and KPI results.

  • Act as brand ambassador to build an external pipeline of customers and partnerships for eventing opportunities.

  • Aware of overall operations and processes to execute events.

  • Assists in assembling creative and innovative event attractions.

  • Team player involved with building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of sales objectives.

  • Maintain visual brand standards at all times

     

    Qualifications & Skills:

  • NOLA based 

  • Willing to travel and work weekends.

  • Flexibility for 50% - 80% travel required.  

  • Comfortable with heavy lifting up to 50lbs.

  • Able to handle high pressure situations and be able to problem solve on the go.

  • Ability to remain flexible throughout a collaborative retail experience.

  • Proficient in excel, POS software and sales reporting platforms.

  • Advanced knowledge of fashion trends and a keen interest in eyewear.

  • Retail experience in successfully delivering sales results and supporting events.

  • Born leader with a strong work ethic.

  • Keen understanding of all aspects of event operations.

  • Thrives in a goal-oriented working environment.

  • Proven history of exceeding expectations time and again.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • A knack for conversation and always presenting products and KREWE in their best light.

  • Passion for providing a unique customer experience.

  • Someone who shares our inquisitive nature, affinity for fashion and design, self-motivated, and good-work-requires-having-fun mentality.
