Job Summary:

KBR’s Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) group is looking for a Craft Recruiter to support the multi-billion-dollar Plaquemines Project developing a Liquid Natural Gas export facility. When fully developed, the PLNG facility will have an export capacity of up to 20 million metric tons per year. This position will be located onsite in Port Sulphur, LA to support project staffing duties; t he facility’s location is about 20 miles south of New Orleans. This project is expected to be a multi-phase project spanning two years.

Aligning with KBR’s commitment to sustainability, the 630-acre site located on the Mississippi River provides deep-water access without the need for dredging, allowing for an expedited environmentally friendly development process.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assists with development, facilitation and implementation of the recruitment process.

  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

  • Assists with job posting and advertisement processes.

  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates and schedules interviews

  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.

  • Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process.

  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.

  • Maintains accurate records of active job openings and received applications; manages internal and external job postings

  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must have 5-7 years’ experience supporting recruiting in a project environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

  • Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.

  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.

  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

  • Previous experience recruiting craft personnel

  • Previous experience with Workday & SAP

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.

  • PHR or SHRM-CP credential
