Description Assistant Director of Technology Robert Half is representing a client in New Orleans, LA seeking a experienced Assistant Director of Technology. The ideal candidate for this role will be a true technology strategist, with excellent leadership and project management skills. This role is an on-site, Contract to permanent in New Orleans, LA. If you are a strategic IT leader with a knack for technology processes and management, this is the role for you!

Responsibilities: -Management of day to day IT strategy & processes, creating a proactive environment -Manage full Technology project life cycles -Manage the evaluation, selection & procurement of technology hardware, software & other products -Manage quarterly, and yearly budgets administered by Executive Leadership -Manage the RFP process, including drafting & reviewing RFP's -Consult with the Director of Technology to establish best practices -Manage internal Technology employees, and oversee the administration of systems, networks, and support Requirements

Requirements: -Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, or a related degree field from an accredited university -2+ years of true full cycle IT procurement experience -5+ Years of IT Project Management experience -Expert knowledge of IT infrastructure & Application administration -Proficiency implementing new software & systems -Strong knowledge of Budget Management, and at least 2+ years managing large budgets -Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, ITIL certified is a plus -3+ years in a Supervisory IT role -Basic knowledge of GIS systems.
