This is a full-time hourly position and is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic to moderate experience, self-motivation, and self-management skills that take pride in their work. *We supply on the job training. Painter / Prepper - Primary responsibilities include using various materials and tools, following written and verbal instructions, providing clear communication of materials needed, and meeting quality control standards. Note: These are some of the various types of work performed. Secondary responsibilities coincide with primary responsibilities and being a reliable asset to our team. The omission of specific duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment to the position. Experience/Skills

  •  Prior experience as a painter working with automotive type materials and equipment
  •  Ability to prioritize daily workload
  •  General knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply
  •  General knowledge of automotive painting techniques using HVLP equipment
  •  Aptitude in using appropriate tools (brushes, spray guns,etc.)
  •  Good basic math skills
  •  Manual dexterity and balance to work on scaffolding, ladders etc.
  •  Conscientious with great attention to detail
  •  High school diploma or GED
  •  Valid driver's license
  •  Pass drug screening
  •  Can read a tape measure properly

Responsibilities

  •  Manage paint booth product material inventories and ordering
  •  Attend work regularly and on time
  •  Sand, mask, clean, prep and prime surface with appropriate material prior to painting
  •  Mix paint and other materials for application
  •  Paint surfaces with spray utilizing specific surface preparation and painting techniques
  •  Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions in compliance with safety programs
  •  Maintain tools and equipment, keep workplace clean and organized
  •  Perform routine maintenance for paint booth and filters
  •  Work independently with focus on high quality outcomes.

Schedule: M-F, 8AM-4:30PM Location: 10065 Rapp Rd., New Middletown, OH 44442 Pay: Entry level pay $18.00-$21.00 per hour Room for advancement based on experience.
