Air National Guard Units SUPPORT SERVICES SPECIALIST (TITLE 32) in New London, North Carolina

Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SUPPORT SERVICES SPECIALIST (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D1520P02 and is part of the NC ANG, National Guard (ANG -118th ASOS / PSN 0086482034). Responsibilities As a SUPPORT SERVICES SPECIALIST, GS-0342-09, you will serve as the Orderly Room Manager, functioning as senior advisor to the Director of Readiness and Support for all orderly room and information management unit support functions; formulate, develop, and direct the implementation of IM policies and procedures; responsible for the accuracy and content of the individual computerized personnel records system for all assigned personnel; plan, organize, and implement electronic media systems and computer systems throughout the unit; manage training plans for IM personnel assigned throughout the organization; serve as unit web master; manage transfer of information internal and external to the unit to include manual and electronic telecommunications. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Military Grades: Enlisted (TSgt/E6 and below) General Requirements: Experience, education or training in administrative, professional, technical, or other work that provided knowledge of support services. Knowledge of administrative methods and procedures used in planning, organizing work, and skill in dealing with others in person-to-person work relationships. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have at least 1 year at the GS-07 level with experience in dealing with management principles and supervisory responsibility for support service functions required by type of position to be filled and the organization involved. Experience planning and directing a variety of clerical operations. Experience using methods and procedural steps, and working under general instructions to meet the objectives of support services programs. Substitution of Education for Specialized Experience: Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university, meets the GS-5 level requirements. One full academic year of graduate-level education is creditable for GS-7; 2 years or a master's or equivalent graduate degree is creditable for GS-9; and 3 years or a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree is creditable for GS-11. Education You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
