Description

We are in the search for a Senior Accountant for an immediate contract engagement. This role is ideally suitable for someone with experience in the construction industry, who is also proficient in Spanish. The position involves preparation of financial statements, cash flow analysis, detailed cost reports, and budgeting. This opening presents a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and presenting financial statements in a timely and accurate manner.

• Conducting comprehensive analysis of cash flow and providing detailed reports.

• Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and bank reconciliations.

• Handling account reconciliation tasks efficiently.

• Assisting in the preparation and control of budgets.

• Recording journal entries in the general ledger.

• Utilizing Microsoft Excel for various accounting functions.

• Managing the month-end closing process.

• Utilizing QuickBooks for accounting and financial tasks.

• Communicating effectively in Spanish to cater to a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Must possess a deep understanding of Account Reconciliation

• Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is essential

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations is required

• Comprehensive knowledge of General Ledger management needed

• Should be adept at making Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory

• Must have experience with Month End Close procedures

• Familiarity with QuickBooks software is necessary

• Spanish Language proficiency

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field is required

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are expected

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary

• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines is essential

• Attention to detail and accuracy in work is required

• Must demonstrate ethical behavior and professionalism at all times.
