Power-Flo Technologies Control Technician in New Hyde Park, New York

At Power-Flo Technologies, we look for resourceful and forward-thinking people who deliver results. We are committed to being the premier provider of supplies, services, and solutions to the electrical, industrial, mechanical, and automation industries. We are looking for you to join our collaborative team as an experienced Control Technician.

This is a full-time, field technician position.

Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 3:30 PM.

Control Technician Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting electrical control panels in the field including HVAC, Pumps, and Machines.

  • Start up and commissioning of variable frequency drives and soft starters.

  • Testing of electrical panels in our UL 508 control panel shop.

  • Performing preventative maintenance on customer equipment.

Control Technician Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience with Electrical Machine, Motor, and/or Pump troubleshooting.

  • Field service background.

  • Experience with boiler controls a plus.

  • Experience with programming Variable Frequency Drives and Soft Starters.

  • Experience reading electrical diagrams for industrial control panels.

  • Must have clean and valid NYS drivers license to operate company vehicles.

    Salary Range: $26 - $45 based on experience and skills
