About the role Partners with business process owners and operating departments on a project basis to provide operational insight, conduct detailed business analyses, implement business systems and modifications, assist in project management, and provide business and systems support. This role provides the opportunity to work within the Network Solutions Business Unit of Leviton Manufacturing Company Inc. Responsibilities Maintain an understanding of the business functions of assigned systems. Identify areas for improvement in internal systems and processes. Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather information about business processes and user needs to identify and solve day-to-day business problems. Conduct data analysis to support business decision making. Design and program small systems and sub systems of major applications. Assist in project management by establishing project plans, schedules, and budgets. Independently manage technical project tasks or small support projects and inform management on a regular basis on the status of assigned projects and activities. Document system requirements, define scope and objectives, and create system specifications that drive system development and implementation. Develop a working knowledge of high-level tools and techniques to support our clients. Ensure Leviton Change Control standards and policies are followed. Stay current on the latest technologies that are related to Business Application Support and actively seek educational experience to better one’s knowledge, skillset, and productivity. All responsibilities deemed necessary by management. Qualifications Ability to prioritize and follow through on multiple requests in a dynamic work environment. Demonstrated ability to manage a project, report status, and meet deadlines. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal, and written communication skills. Familiarity with business software applications, databases, and programming concepts. This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, required Minimum of 3 years business system exposure with experience in analytical and investigative skills associated with application systems definition and design.
