Mary Wade Registered Nurse Supervisor in New Haven, Connecticut

Mary Wade is seeking RN Supervisor for our Skilled Nursing Unit.

  • Part-time: 24 hours/wk: & 7:00 am to 7:00 pm: Every Weekend

  • Full-Time: 32 hours/wk: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am: Every Friday & 7:00 pm to 7:00 am: Every Weekend

Hourly Rate Range: $50.00 to $55.00 (Shift differential available)

Ability to be On-Call on Weekends is required. The On-Call rotation is shared with other nurses

We have 94 beds. Our resident population is primarily seniors with varying levels of acuity.

Responsibilities:

To be our Nursing Supervisor you must be able to handle the following:

  • Act as RN on duty for skilled nursing and the residential care home

  • Supervise, direct and assist skilled nursing staff with support from charge nurses

  • Ensure high quality of care both clinical and non-clinical for Long Term Care and Short Term Rehab residents

  • Keep Director of Clinical Services and Administrator advised as appropriate

  • Coordinate and complete paperwork with attention to detail

  • Handle admission of new residents

  • Ability to be flexible with schedule due to needs of the home

Requirements:

  • Long Term experience preferred but not required

  • Nurse with current CT RN license in good standing

  • Must possess strong nursing, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Electronic Medical Records experience

  • Supervisor skills including teaching, coaching, holding accountable
