Pay: $35/hr

Duties:

  1. Conduct routine inspections of equipment, and machinery to identify faults and potential issues.

  2. Perform preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  3. Troubleshoot equipment and machinery to diagnose malfunctions and determine the appropriate course of action.

  4. Repair or replace defective electronic parts, such as sensors, switches, circuit boards, and wiring, using hand tools, soldering equipment, and diagnostic software.

  5. Collaborate with other maintenance technicians and engineers to develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols.

  6. Document maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance tasks, accurately and comprehensively.

  7. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with electronic equipment and machinery.

  8. Stay updated on advancements in electronic technology and participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:

  1. Strong understanding of electronics principles.

  2. Strong understanding of mechanical principles and the use of basic hand tools for troubleshooting and repair

  3. Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  5. Proficient in reading blueprints, schematics, and specification sheets.

  6. Able to communicate and coordinate tasks through to implementation.

  7. Understanding of lean processes.

  8. Minimum of three years of machine/electronics maintenance experience in a medical device/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

  9. Knowledge of, and commitment to, safety requirements for machines and facilities.
