Job Title: Maintenance Helper

Job Summary:

The maintenance helper will complete required preventive maintenance and repairs as directed by the site manager/lead and/or designee. The maintenance helper may be assigned to and given direction by a more senior level technician as the helper. 1st and 2nd shift available

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair/replace equipment/building and grounds, including but not limited to, touch up and repair painting, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, lighting and landscape.

  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment/building and grounds according to a set schedule with written instructions, includes documenting performance characteristics of facility buildings/systems and/or equipment.

  • Complete any other tasks identified by Site manager/lead.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, G.E.D or Equivalent

  • At least one year mechanical experience, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, preferred

  • Valid driver's license

  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions including, but not limited to, safety policies and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

  • Mechanical experience including, but not limited to electrical, plumbing, HVAC or carpentry.
