Magnetic Lifting Technologies US (MLTUS) is the country's leading manufacturer of electro lifting magnets and components. We manufacturer, remanufacturer, repair, service and inspect magnets of any manufacturer. MLTUS is a proud member of the H&K Equipment Group which is comprised of seven separate operating companies located throughout the mid-Atlantic with locations in Pittsburgh, New Castle, Baltimore, York, Allentown, Philadelphia, Syracuse, and the Northeast. We proudly employ over 350 people.

We are currently seeking an experienced AutoCAD Drafter. Duties will include all aspects of custom design for specialized overhead lifting devices, spreader beams and industrial magnets for our heavy industry and manufacturing customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supports engineers in the creation of projects by reading and interpreting project plans

  • Works with engineers and design team to ensure model accuracy, design, drafting standards, engineered mechanical drawings, bill of materials, and ECN/ECR documentation

  • Works collaboratively with all internal and external groups to meet our customers’ needs

  • Provides multi-view drawings utilizing AutoCAD software with minimal supervision and provides technical support

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2+ years of AutoCAD experience

  • Associates degree in drafting, engineering technology, or similar field of study

  • Knowledge of assembly, welding, hydraulics, electrical systems, strength of materials, and lifting mechanics helpful

  • Overhead Crane Industry experience, highly desired

  • Able to work within tight deadlines in a team environment

  • Hands-on work environment preferred

  • Drawing archiving experience

  • Proficient in 3D and 2D AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor

  • Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, MS Project
