We're looking for a QA Test Engineer to join our team in Cairo, Egypt.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Understand the FPGA-Based Prototyping and Multiple FPGA Partitioning challenges, and work on qualifying new tool features to address these challenges.

  • Work on testing and validating the end to end flow from ASIC design to FPGA implementation.

  • Develop test plans and execute tests for new product features, and developing testing methodologies for different technologies implemented on FPGA: HW-SW co-simulation, Power-Aware verification, Assertions based verification, Coverage, memory modeling & debugging.

  • Using simulation, formal verification and emulation solutions to verify FPGA design transformations.

  • Participate in product functional testing, license testing, performance testing, installation testing and GUI testing throughout the release life cycle.

  • Participate in the validation plan for new HW systems and HW interfaces support.

  • Understand customer usage and help with the integration of customer designs in our test environment.

  • Participate in developing and maintaining build and regression infrastructure.

  • Defects reporting, defects validation and defects triaging to understand the root cause of the problem, define their criticality and fix any testing holes.

  • Utilize code coverage techniques/tools to judge product testing coverage.

  • Help in the deployment and monitoring of other qualification techniques: static code analysis and memory checks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering.

  • Knowledge in Digital/RTL Design Basics.

  • Good knowledge about Hardware Description Languages: VERILOG/VHDL or System Verilog.

  • Familiar with FPGA flow and P&R tools (Vivado/Quartus).

  • Good knowledge with scripting languages: Shell/Perl/Python.

  • Knowledge of Siemens EDA Tools such as Simulation, Emulation or Formal is a huge plus!

  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance Concepts and SW Testing is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Testing Strategies, Test Planning and Testing Automation Tools is a plus!

  • Preferably has knowledge about Defect Tracking Systems, Configuration Management and Code Profiling Tools.

  • Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share knowledge with others.
