Bristol-Myers Squibb Company Sr Manager, Digital Capability Management, Enterprise Quality Systems in New Brunswick, New Jersey
Use knowledge of and experience with: Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) end user and/or system administration, LIMS software development in LIMS BASIC; computer system validation; software development lifecycle (SDLC); and project management to author and/or review Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) risk assessments, user requirements and functional specifications, validation plans, qualification test protocols, reports, addendums, and other validation artifacts. Develop LIMS resources, strategic computing, and disaster recovery. Package Labware LIMS patches and custom objects into builds for implementation. Review and provide recommendations for modifications to application software logic using data analysis and periodic review planning. Lead development effort, code review, and test planning using Agile/Waterfall SDLC processes. Perform gap analyses and deviation management associated with the validation of LIMS. Collaborate with the vendor through working sessions to enhance LIMS and its interfaces. Evaluate and advise the system owner with recommendations for appropriate user roles and privileges in alignment with data integrity principles. Act as a point of escalation and bring resolution to compliance related issues and risks. Consult with users, vendors, management, and business owners to assess application user needs and system requirements. Develop operational instructions and preventive maintenance plans for data security and disaster recovery. Manage the software change control process, Corrective Action/Preventative Action and root cause analysis reports for all major/critical service failures. Design, plan, develop and execute release management procedures. Provide technical and analytical guidance and develop project plans to ensure projects meets all requirements. Support internal/external audits and inspections. May work remotely 2-3 days per week within normal commuting distance of New Brunswick, NJ.Requirements: bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer information systems, computer applications, computer science or a life science plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience reflecting demonstrable ability in the skill set described above.The starting compensation for this job is a range from 169,229 to 173,423/year, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility). The starting pay takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. Final, individual compensation is decided based on demonstrated experience.
