The Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology, Rutgers University invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer (PTL) teaching position in the Department of School Psychology during the 2020-2021 academic year (September 1, 2020 through January 2021; Fall Semester).

The position entials teaching doctoral level courses in the Department of School Psychology. Candidates will assume primary responsibility for developing or refining course syllabi, presenting high quality lectures, and evaluating students based on course expectations and program-wide competencies. PTL's are expected to adhere to high quality instructional practices that integrate multiple modalities and approaches, such as whole class lecture, small group activities, videos, role playing and to provide opportunities for practice and feedback.
This position is housed within the Department of School Psychology of GSAPP, but may involve interaction with graduate level students from different departments within GSAPP, such as the Department of Clinical Psychology.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience
  • A doctorate in school psychology, clinical psychology, or related field relevant to course content area;
