We are currently one of nations biggest design build firms. We specialize in pharma projects and industrial. We are cuurently looking to add a highly sckilled / knowledgable eletrical superintendenta to our team. This super will need a minimum 9 years profossionally, with a focus in eletrical, industrial, construction and wiring. This opportunity will give the applicant a chance to work on Pharma projects and excelirate their career beyond compare.

Description:

MUST HAVES:

10+ Years as an Electrical Superintendent

Commercial Electrical experience- Industrial or pharma preferred

Ability to manage a schedule and work with union subs

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This position will report to the Project Director & Director of Operations with matrixed supervision by the Project Manager and Sr

Superintendent for the given assignment

Provide daily job site inspection of work to ensure completion in accordance with established designs, specifications and industry standards

Complete construction reports

Review contractor billing, in-service reports

Provide contractor/vendor evaluations during project active construction phase

Assist in the completion of the project close-out reports

Perform on-call duties in the case of emergent weather-related outages

Participate in bid evaluations and the contractor selection process

Complete necessary training and qualify to hold an assignment in Industry Tagging System and serve as a Tag Holder, when required

This position will assist with permit strategy development, review and comment on engineering deliverables, application preparation and submittals, and the necessary after application follow-up and support

This position will support permitting work required for all regulatory agencies from the federal level, the state level and municipality level

Position will visit construction sights and will be required to take site safety training and adhere to site safety rules

The employee is considered a field contractor supervisor and acts in a supervisory role for field work for employees or subcontractors

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 10 years of professional electrical experience

Extensive knowledge and experience in electrical construction, protection and testing for electric substations/switching stations equipment

Experience in field electrical supervision and protection cutovers

Construction supervision experience with crews

Capable of reading schematics and design drawings

Capable of electrical troubleshooting

Must be able to build rapport with department staff and clients

Basic working knowledge of electric distribution systems, civil construction

Knowledge of specification and contract enforcement, applicable technical standards, OSHA and other regulatory statutes

Knowledge of trade agreements, procedures, techniques, work methods and standards used in the construction industry

Administrative skills for effective monitoring of contractor progress, cost control and contractual interpretation matters
