Coordinate and oversee production of product within work cells.

· Assign, organize, prioritize and communicate expectations and workload for business unit in all cells.

· Track results against expectations for cell and take corrective action on results.

· Ability to trouble shoot set-up issues and perform minor repairs to equipment.

· Assist in resolving conflict between employees.

· Use MSS to track parts for production.

· Train cell associates on requirements, how to read documentation, how to read shop routings, single piece flow assembly, and test stand usage.

· Assist Supervisor/Value Stream Mgr. in conducting & facilitating team meetings.

· Use MSS to track parts.

· Administer vacation planning and scheduling in order to keep workflow and cell operations working to meet customer demands

· Provide job assignment information to area supervisor as required in order to assist supervisor with preparation of individual employee performance reviews.

· Use Excel to track vacation and cell work hours and complete analysis of cell exceptions and planning of work for cells.

· Use data collection and reporting techniques to analyze data and determine appropriate course of action.

· Leading High Performance Teams

· Schedule the floor

· Works with Customer Service demand management

· Perform capacity analysis

· Assist Material Handling to pull jobs as needed and resolve picking errors

· Assist Mfg. Engineering with work instruction corrections/updates

· Mechanical trouble shooting opportunities

· Assemble and test valves in order to produce product in cells to cover for vacation schedules and workflow fluctuations.

Education, Credentials and Previous Experience:

· High School Diploma or equivalent required.

· 7-10 years' experience in manufacturing environment, assembly required

Technical Depth and Breadth:

  • Intermediate computer skills.

  • Knowledge of Exel & Access programs.

  • Able to follow written/verbal instructions and directions in English.

  • Ability to interpret written material and maintain appropriate documentation.

  • Ability to use charts, tables, handbooks, and wide variety of precision measuring instruments and gauges.

  • Learns and maintains required skill and proficiency to successfully accomplish full job responsibilities; willingly takes on new assignments and cross trains in other areas. Able to work proficiently (3/4 dot on Skills Matrix) in assigned cells.

    Problem Soliving and Analytical Skills:

  • In coordination with team members, initiate. contact with other support groups to resolve problems.

  • Actively participate in improvement activities, Lean and Kaizen projects, HPT and TIB meetings.

  • Learn structured problem-solving skills.

  • Provide suggestions for improvement. Consistently open to change and new ideas.

    Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Dependable, prompt and reliable with good overall attendance; present at workstation when required.

  • Demonstrate ability to get along with others; behave professionally; treat all coworkers with respect and dignity consistent with Parker Values and Code of Conduct.

  • Builds and leverages strong relationships beyond the production area to accomplish team goals.

    Communication/Contact with Others:

    · Able to read, understand and follow written & verbal instructions and directions in English.

    Physical and Mental Demands:

    With or without reasonable accommodation:

    · Required to sit, stand, bend & reach.

    · May be required to stand, sit or alternate between sitting and standing for 8+ hours at a time, based on business needs.

    · Require near vision acuity, color vision, and visual accommodation to see and manipulate small parts at near point for extended periods of time.

    · Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity.

    · Rotate functions in cells as needed.

    · Frequent lifting or moving of lightweight (<20 lbs.) materials, occasional lifting up to 26 lbs.

    · Use of Personal Protective Equipment as required, may include safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, and/or any other equipment deemed necessary.

    · Exposure to oil, grease and dirt.
