Description

Robert Half is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for an immediate vacancy with a reputable Healthcare client based in New Britain, CT. This is a temporary to hire opportunity for a skilled and ambitious individual looking to further their career in the healthcare finance field.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensuring all invoices are entered on time and accurately.

  2. Identifying and resolving invoice discrepancies and issues.

  3. Working closely with internal and external parties to resolve payable issues.

  4. Posting transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.

  5. Preparing reports related to payable function as required.

  6. Assisting with monthly and year-end closing.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  1. 2+ years of experience in accounts payable.

  2. Healthcare experience is a plus but not mandatory.

  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced level Excel.

  4. Knowledge of accounting system software is necessary.

  5. Excellent data entry skills.

  6. Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.

  7. Strong communication skills are essential.
