17 West is a premiere American Bistro in New Bremen, Ohio. This unique dining experience features a full lunch and dinner menu, daily specials, a wide selection of cocktails and live entertainment. With an upscale, contemporary menu and a casual atmosphere, the restaurant offers options for business lunches, an evening out and everything in between.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Follow all health and safety regulations.

  • Promote positive and friendly dining experience.

  • Ensure all tables are properly set with clean linens.

  • Be knowledgeable about the menu, wine list, and specials.

  • Take orders promptly. Suggest cocktails, appetizers, and desserts when appropriate.

  • Ring in orders and communicate any changes or specialty items to the kitchen staff.

  • Serve food promptly.

  • Maintain restaurant cleanliness in front and back of house by clearing empty tables, vacuuming, and restocking items as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age to participate in the handling and sale of wine, mixed beverages, or spirituous liquor.

  • Ability to work variable hours that may include daytime, evenings, weekends (no Sundays), and holidays.

  • Restaurant industry experience preferred.

  • Good organizational, communication, teamwork, and customer service skills as well as good personal hygiene.

  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work well under pressure at a consistent and steady pace for extended time periods, and ability to closely follow established procedures.

  • Ability to bend, stoop, lift, carry up to 25 pounds on a regular basis, stand for long periods of time, and move from area to area.

  • Ability to handle exposure to wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noises
