LRS Consulting Services is seeking a Senior SAP Business Analyst for a contract to hire opportunity with a client of ours in New Braunfels, TX!
Under general direction, serves as a senior subject matter expert associated with content, processes, and procedures associated with SAP. Responsible for defining detailed requirements, analyzing business needs, and validating SAP solutions with appropriate business stakeholders. Details requirements through product development and other functions to support the project team. With only general guidance, capable of working on complex projects that require in-depth knowledge and experience. Provides guidance and leadership to associate analysts in processes analysis, configuration and implementation methodologies within a functional area. Evaluates development projects. Assists in tailoring the development process to meet the project needs. Generally, requires at least 8-10 years of experience in one or more SAP functional areas. Demonstrates extensive knowledge and expertise within one or more functional areas and has working knowledge of other SAP functional areas. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complex tasks. May lead and direct the work of associate analysts. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically, reports to department manager or head of a unit.
8+ years of experience in one or more SAP functional areas, financial modules highly preferred.
Experience with SAP FICO is required
SAP Configuration experience required
Treasury and asset management experience required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work within IT project teams and be responsible for eliciting requirements from stakeholders, analyze the requirements, document them in User Story or Business Requirements Document and Acceptance Criteria Format.
Work closely with technical staff to ensure requirements are understood and delivered to the business.
Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, tasks and workflow analysis.
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and requirements.
Utilize experience in using enterprise-wide requirements definition and management systems and methodologies required.
Work mostly independently with users to define concepts and under collaboration with project managers.
Drive and challenge business units on assumptions of how will successfully execute plans.
Work with the business to define scope or priority as well as negotiate changes.
Work with guidance to define an analysis approach or plan appropriate to the request or project.
Adhere to the standards and practices defined by the Business Systems Analyst Center of Excellence.
Ability to multitask under pressure.
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
