Occasions to Celebrate is seeking aSpecial Events Equipment Warehouse, Delivery, and Maintenance Supervisor.We are a special events business with jobs small and large.We are a party and event business so you will be a vital part of what we do and you will get to work at many different venues with many different people. This will be an exciting position for the right person.

Requirements:

  • Basic mechanical knowledge required. Must be strong and able to carry and lift heavy equipment (tables, chairs, etc.).
  • Applicant must be fine with ladder work and sky-jack certification would be a plus.
  • Experience with tent set up and dance floor installation helpful but not required.
  • Organizational skills a must.

Duties:

  • Applicant will need to keep up with rental equipment inventory, make sure it is clean and in good working order, maintain and fix any problems, keep warehouse, clean, organized and well maintained.
  • Must keep equipment inventory counts current and report any damage/shortages right away.
  • Applicant will be required to pull orders and deliver rental equipment to and from events and set up as necessary so driver's license and good driving record is required.
  • Applicant must be comfortable driving larger vehicles.
  • Applicant will need to interact with clients so good communication skills and personality are an absolute necessity.
  • On the same note, applicant must be clean and neat in appearance and act professionally.
  • This job does not have a set schedule and weekend availability is required.
  • Applicant must be flexible both with availability and daily duties which may change often depending on event scheduling and bookings.
  • Some after hours pickups will be necessary.
