Job Description Department: OperationsReports To: PM Assistant Warehouse Manager

Schedule: 4:00 PM - Until finished Monday thru Friday (starting from New Bern or Ayden)

Hourly Position with Benefit Package

Job Summary

Transfer empty and full trailers to and from our satellite warehouse facilities. The job will require some physical labor connecting the trailers, parking and disconnecting them when the shuttle is completed.

Illustrative Examples of Work;

  • Operate a forklift in a safe and orderly manner
  • Maintain a safe and orderly storage of all paperwork required
  • May be instructed load and unload Shuttle trucks with merchandise, shells or pallets using a forklift.
  • Any duties deemed necessary by management.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities;

  • CDL license with adouble endorsement or being able to get endorsement within 30 days of hire
  • Working knowledge of inventory control and warehousing procedures
  • Skill in simple computations
  • Ability to comprehend procedures
  • Good physical health
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Frequent physical demand to connect and disconnect trailers
  • Some experience or knowledge of material handling
  • Must be able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test to currently possess Forklift Driving Certificate

Measures of Success;

  • Achieve required nightly shuttle activity safely and as efficiently as possible
