Pecheles Honda of New Bern Parts Counter Associate in New Bern, North Carolina

Pecheles Honda is currently looking to hire a full-time Parts Associate with shuttle responsibilities. The ideal candidate should be energetic, willing to learn, and capable of working well with others.

The Parts Associate provides superior customer service and assistance to our internal and external customers. The Parts Associate ensures order accuracy and timely, efficient deliveries, while maintaining the necessary inventory, records, supporting promotions, and complying with environmental and safety regulations. Maintaining our inventory storage also requires the ability to safely lift up to 50lbs.

This is a career opportunity with potential for growth and advancement. Must have availability to work shifts scheduled Monday thru Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a superior customer experience to external customers and across internal departments
  • This position will also provide daily shuttle service as needed
  • Locate and receive parts shipments
  • Receive and log parts into inventory
  • Maintain parts inventory/storage ensuring neatness, accuracy and correct stock
  • Control supplies

Shuttle Driver Responsibilities:

  • Transport customers to and from our location in a safe and courteous manner.
  • This role will involve direct customer interaction, so cleanliness, hygiene, and a neat appearance are essential. The working hours for this position are from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data to maintain accurate records/orders
  • Intermediate PC Skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular, daily basis.
  • Understanding numeric filing
  • Ability to speak and listen effectively to assist customers in person and over the phone
  • Willing to complete all brand specific training
  • Maintain a professional attire and neat appearance.
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Clean driving record
  • Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screen
