JOB REQUIREMENTS: Welding Inspector Job Locations US-WI-New Berlin ID 2024-13513 Overview Element has an opportunity for a Welding Inspector who will be primarily responsible for managing welding inspection operations for various projects across the region. The role will also be responsible for efficient project management, team building and customer service. Salary: \$70K-\$110K/yr DOE Responsibilities Inspect and test welded joints for welding procedure and performance qualifications as per international welding codes Verify alignment and dimensions of product and set up of machines and fixtures used for work in progress Monitor welders at work in the project sites recommending scrapping/re-work Record inspection data Analyse x-ray photographs of welding joints and review NDT reports Work efficiently with subcontractors and clients Skills / Qualifications 5 year inspection experience in a relevant work environment with last 2 years at a senior level Engineering graduate not required, but preferred AWS / CWI certification preferred Metallurgy/Mechanical PQR and WQT approvals CSWIP 3.1 NOTE: This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services.
