JOB REQUIREMENTS: Eurofins SF Analytical Laboratories, Inc. seeks Special Chemistry Manager in New Berlin, Wisconsin. Duties: Perform, manage, and oversee testing activities as directed by Business Unit Manager, or Designee, in accordance with all applicable company and regulatory guidelines; Perform and document method transfers, development work, validations and verifications; Peer review proposed study/method protocols, and peer review completed reports for development work, and method validation/verifications; Perform Analytical Testing; Instrumentation utilized will include a wide array including not limited to FTIR, HPLC, LCMS, GCFID/ECD, GCMS, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, AA, IC, FIA, LECO N2, Calorimetry, Physical and Thermal Analysis (includes DSC, TGA, DMA outsourced) to determine composition or quantity of organic/inorganic compounds; Corrective and Preventive Action forms, documenting Non-Conformances and Client Complaints, and assisting with internal audit findings as assigned by Analytical Chemistry Operations Manager. Domestic and international travel 10% of the time is required. Requirements: Ph.D. or foreign equivalent in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related degree plus knowledge or experience gained in all of the following through education, training, or experience: 1. Liquid Chromatography, including Mass Spectrometry and other non specific detectors Includes Method Development and Optimization Skills; 2. Gas Chromatography, including Mass Spectrometry and FID Detection Includes Method development and optimization skills; 3. FTIR Analysis, including data interpretation; 4. Wet Chemistry, including but not limited to titrations, gravimetry, colorimetry; 5. Data interpretation, ability to create and peer review complex written reports to solve problems accordingly; 6. Perform and document method transfers, development work, validations/verifications; 7. Assist lab staff in determining corrective actions for QC failures. In lieu of a Ph.D., employer will accept a bachelor\'s degree or foreign equivalent in Chemistry, Food Science, or a related degree plus 4 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations. Must have 4 years of experience in all of the following. 1. Liquid Chromatography, including Mass Spectrometry and other non specific detectors Includes Method Development and Optimization Skills; 2. Gas Chromatography, including Mass Spectrometry and FID Detection Includes Method development and optimization skills; 3. FTIR Analysis, including data interpretation; 4.
